Zhengyi Yan was born in Fuzhou, Fujian. He earned his bachelor’s degree in bioinformatics from the Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen. Driven by his interest in quantitative system biology, Zhengyi joined Dr. Shou-wen Wang’s lab as a PhD student in 2025. In his spare time, he enjoys reading, spending time outdoors, and running.
